Nickel chloride is used for plating. It accelerates the dissolution of anode metal nickel while acting to increase the electrolyte level of the solution. In various types of nickel plating, impurities such as zinc, copper, lead, and iron are not desired. Therefore, high-purity nickel chloride is required. Since SMM's nickel chloride is a high-purity product, containing no silver sulphate and silver nitrate, it is suitable for use in a chloride bath. The crystal of nickel chloride is a monoclinic crystal in a green granular shape and has a high deliquescence.

Chromic Acid is widely used in metal finishing, wood preservation and in manufacturing of some organic chemicals. It is a strong oxidizer and dissolves readily in water. Chromic Acid comes as soluble flakes or granules with a dark red colour and a purity of 99.7% minimum.
